About SEKA Bikes
SEKA is committed to delivering exceptional bicycles through superior design and continuous technological innovation - and Bikesoup is proud to be the only official UK supplier of the brand.
SEKA's flagship road frameset, the Spear, is the product of obsessive engineering. The "Sectionalized Design" concept combines advanced materials, scientific analysis, and precision manufacturing to ensure the Spear compromises on no aspect of performance. With 37 optimisation iterations, CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analysis was integrated throughout the entire development process, with repeated testing in the Silverstone wind tunnel validating every detail.
Wind Tunnel Tested at Silverstone
Collaborating with Aerocoach at the Silverstone Sports Engineering Hub (SSEH) in the UK and analysing 280,000 sets of data, SEKA established that the Spear reduces air drag by 6 watts and saves 15.27 seconds over a set course at the same average power output.
At the heart of the aerodynamic performance is SEKA's proprietary WindEye - a cutting-edge design element that suppresses turbulence at the seat tube and rear wheel, saving 2.66 watts at a relative wind speed of 40km/h, while also filtering road vibrations to allow up to 17mm of vertical seatpost flex - a 23% improvement in vertical compliance.
Pushing the Boundaries of Carbon Fibre
To achieve ultimate performance, SEKA pioneered the use of ultra-high modulus pitch-based carbon fibre in road bike frames, incorporating PITCH 65T and PITCH 80T materials whose modulus reaches 2.1 and 2.5 times that of T1000 and T1100 carbon respectively. Each Spear frame is built using True-One-Piece Molding Technology, which uses a single mould to form a complete frame; avoiding the glued joints of traditional manufacturing and reducing individual frame weight by 25g while improving stress resistance, fatigue strength, and fracture toughness across all key metrics.
The result: an RDC frameset weighing just 685g, with a stiffness-to-weight ratio 14.5% better than its predecessor, and 5+2 non-linear geometry across seven sizes to ensure most riders have two to three fit options.
The Range
SEKA currently offers three bike lines - the Spear road frameset, the ExAero GR gravel bike with up to 56mm tyre clearance and integrated internal storage, and the Afield - alongside the Rapier integrated handlebar system available in 19 size combinations for the perfect fit.
